Oh how I wish Joannna Newsom had performed with the Roots last night. This sounded lovely but I couldn’t help but think the singing out the side of her mouth was a little “Sewing with Nancy”. Anyone know the reasoning behind this? Was she performing under the weather? I don’t recall her doing this the times I saw her perform, but it’s been awhile.
